The formula for determining when a player is too strong or too weak for attack is:
Weak player is when your points divided by 5 are greater than the other player's points.
Strong player is when your points multiplied by 5 are less than the other player's points.

If your points are 50.000:
50.000 / 5  = 10.000
50.000 x 5 = 250.000
So the interval in which you can attack players/get attacked from players is from 10.000 to 250.000 points.

If we open it Dbal max up, strong players will attack very weak players and there will be bad balance.

I started playing because I thought the gameplay sounded interesting. Unfortunately, I could not get over the way that the vast majority of the assets in the game (85.7%+) are ripped from other sources without crediting them. By my tally of the icons for just the buildings, ships, research, and defense tabs:
I've attached annotated screenshots with the icons and their originating sources. I'd like to enjoy this game, but I can't knowing that so much art is being taken without due credit to the artists.

The new art assets don't have to be nearly as complex as the art being taken, a simpler but original and cohesive style would be a significant improvement from the current situation.

No, this is just an example. Multiply and divide by 5 (10 for the speed server) your current points and you will have the interval in which you can be attacked. Everyone having points out of this interval can't attack you and you can't attack them.

Just a few thoughts from a new player. I haven't played oGame before, just started today after seeing sizegenetics
 the previous post about it, but is clear that Battlestar was intended as a clone of it- with some  improvements in a few areas of course. It's a totally bad idea. If two games are nearly identical people will usually go to the one with more players - I'm analyzing this possibility too right now.

Is the android release done yet?
